Life changing

I would recommend Primal Roots 100% and say give it a go. I have tried so many diet/fitness groups as this is the only one that I have stuck to and even dare to say enjoy! If you want to change your life, not feel judged and be supported 100% then come and join the family you will not regret it! it is so much more than weight loss programme and you feel valued everyday. ?

The trainers are incredible and so encouraging and give you tips wherever possible and no one gets left behind we are all supported no matter your fitness level.

Normally exercise is hard to drag yourself to but these sessions are just great !! Everyone is so friendly and encouraging the sessions are actually really enjoyable!! 

I didn’t think I would enjoy this as much as I do ! I’m carrying on to get even fitter and toned ! Every time is different so no getting bored ! ??

FLI FITNESS THANK YOU. After trying and failing on fad diets for the last 4 years, I’ve finally found something that has worked. Not the only have I had amazing results on the 6 week challenge, I’ve really enjoyed the classes, made some great friends and felt fully supported from the lovely instructors throughout my weight loss journey. Achieving your goals...

Nothing better than being out in the open pushing yourself and achieving your goals! I have just completed my 6 week challenge and lost 21lbs. I have to say this has been the most I have enjoyed exercise in years! Steve, Jenny, Tanya and Lauren are fantastic trainers and make sure everyone is looked after. The group that attend the classes are all really nice and make everyone feel welcome!

FLI Fitness not just good for loosing weight

Firstly I would like to thank Steve Denby and the team for this opportunity and experience.

I did not take this challenge to loose weight as I have always been thin, but to gain muscle and fitness. I achieved both while really enjoying the sessions and the company. Yes they can be hard work but at the end of each session you feel so good and to see the changes physically is unreal.

I must say I’m not great with food and was really worried about the dieting or food planning but the menu and advice meant it had no problems at all. The meals were quick and easy to prep and cook. 10-15 mins the night before and I had a day of meals ahead and I hate cooking so massive plus there for me.

My target was was to loose body fat but put on weight at the same time, I was skeptical as I had tried different diets before along with the gym with no great results. 6 weeks of this I had lost the body fat and put on weight. The body I had always wanted.

Overall, great experience, great results could not recommend this enough.

The Journey So Far

As a person of naturally slim build, many wondered why I was on this programme. But personal health reasons and unseen to others I have fat around the waste and stomach, I couldn't fit in to some trousers. I've completed the 6 weeks and kept my weight and lost the fat and feel much healthier with it. I've now signed up as a member, to keep myself motivated not to relapse

FLI Fitness

I started my FLI Fitness journey 6 weeks ago and was apprehensive about what I'd be able to achieve in such a short space of time. But I've been so pleased with it having lost a ton of weight so far.

When I started I found the group really welcoming and encouraging and everyone wants you to succeed.

The team at FLI are all excellent, varying the workouts and sessions so you don't know what to expect and keeping it fresh and fun.

Definitely worth trying out and can guarantee you'll enjoy it more than your normal gym sessions.

Loving it!

I’ve now completed the 6 week challenge and enjoyed every minute with a great bunch of people! So much so I’ve signed up to carry on! I was worried that I wasn’t going to be able to keep up but the groups are so varied in age & ability I never felt left out. I would highly recommend Fli Fitness to anyone who wants to get into a steady fitness routine that never feels like a chore, and leaves you feeling great after doing it! I’ve really noticed the results in myself but it’s great being told by other people that they have also noticed the change. Thanks Steve & co!

initial 6 week investment of a change of lifestyle

6 weeks ago, I started my journey. I hated gyms as I quickly became bored with exercising alone. I do the 5K Park Runs as we are one big family all spurring each other on. I started to see weight gain and my clothes were becoming tighter and I didn't like what I saw. I didn't want to continue to feel like this so I did something about it. I signed up for a 6 week bootcamp and I learned the right things to eat and the right way to exercise. It was hard initially to get used to programming your mind to choosing and preparing the food. It became a routine to attend at least 3 high intensity courses each week - I enjoyed it so much I attended 5 and then ran on the other 2. It is infectious! After 2.5 weeks, I started seeing results and it made me feel very positive. Don't weigh yourself before the half way 3 week point - you will be surprised if you stick to it. It really works if you want it to and for a commitment of 6 weeks you will have not only lost weight, gained muscle but invested in a lifestyle change. I have finished my 6 weeks and will be continuing some classes each week - the group I have come to know during my time are great - very motivational and friendly. I do not want to undo what I have already achieved and look forward to sculpting my body further!

I am so glad i took the risk and joined the 6 week challenge. So nervous and daunting at the thought of working out with strangers at first but I cant stress enough how AMAZING my trainers have been throughout my journey so encouraging and so patient with me, always there providing support online/offline. Everyone was so welcoming and always pushing me to strive for the best. I have never felt so happier, fitter and more confident.

Amazing support!

I've just come to the end of the 6 week challenge and I cannot recommend Fli Fitness highly enough!! Working long days in Sussex meant that fitting in any exercise I've always found difficult and no motivation to try until Fli! Exercising in a group of all abilities and ages out in the open air with all the support from the group is motivation enough. Having classes in the morning, evening and on Saturday morning meant I could get 3 classes in a week which has been perfect. But the encouragement of everyone has been amazing, especially when I have really struggled. I've transformed my shape and outlook on food and definitely intend to keep it going so thank you all!!

Kick start to the new fit me

I've recently completed the 6 week challenge and I feel great and excited to continue. I had not exercised for over 2 years following the birth of my son, so to say I was nervous was an understatement. I needn't have been, the FLI group are super friendly and really supportive regardless of your fitness levels. Previoulsy obsessed with the scales and unsustainable restrictive diets, I'm learning to eat to fuel my body not to feed my emotions (work in progress, but it doesn't have to be all or nothing) and I've discovered that there is so much more to consider than that number on the scale. Thank you FLI, the trainers and all the lovely members.

Perfect for all needs

FLI was amazing from the very beginning, all the trainings are fun, caring and knowledgable in fitness, health and nutrition. My work is very varied in shifts so the fact there was morning and night sessions worked perctly for me. The more I came the more of the results I saw, my fitness sky rocket after a couple of weeks and I was running further and pushing my self more then I’ve ever done. I’ve lost a lot of weight and plan to keep it that way. Thank you Steve and co for all the hard work you guys put in.

Just what I needed.

I never thought I’d be able To say this but - I have been successful in my journey!! I had a massive kick up the bum from Steve and now 10 weeks later I have seen the results! I am so thankful for all of the FLI team! I have a long way to go on my journey to reach my final target weight but I will achieve that! The classes are brilliant and very motivating! Life changing approach

I joined FLI at the start of November last year for the 6 week challenge, I was full of trepidation and anxiety. 4 months later and my health is in the best place it has been for over 20 years, the initial financial investing pushed me to invest in myself, best money ive ever spent. I am 2 1/2 stone lighter, inches off my whole body, energies levels up, critical voice non existent and I have a motivation to be the best I can be health wise. I have tried it all over the years and nothing sat, but the outdoor training, the awesome and supportive trainers alongside the great people you train with make it a mix that fits all I need. I would never of publicly showed of my photos, but as you can see below they speak for themselves. I would highly recommend if you are willing to invest in yourself, because you get that and more back. The sessions push you to your limits and you will find strength and stamina you didn't know existed, but hey nothing worth having comes too easy. Give it a go.

A 6 week push that has changed my life!?

Finding FLI Fitness is the best thing I have ever done and I would recommend it to anyone.

For those of you who are obsessed with the scales. I might just be proof that it’s not all about that and I thought I would send this strong message out to women. Six weeks ago I took on the amazing challenge worked so hard training pushing myself to the max at least 5 times a week. It’s been tough but also an amazing experience physically, mentally and met some lovely people along the way! According to the scales I haven’t lost any weight during that time but instead I have lost inches, body fat, toned up and built up muscle?? I lost 7lbs of fat but gained 7lbs in muscle? I guess going by the pictures something has definitely happened here?

The classes are great fun and we are just all individuals wanting to look after ourselves. I can saftley say I have become addicted to looking after myself, since taking on the challenge and that’s a fantastic place to be! Thank you Steve Denby, Lauren Whalin and Tanya Elias for all of your support. Quite honestly the best thing I have ever done and it doesn’t stop there! Love FLI Fitness? X

Amazing Results

When I joined FLI I was excited to start my journey with other people, I'd done the gym bit on my own previously but had got bored quickly.

From the very start I felt supported, not just by the fantastic trainers but by the other participants, some starting out like me, others weeks into their challenges .

There's quite literally not been a class where you don't see support for each other, it really helps you get through the sessions that you may find harder than others.

I've now completed my 6 week challenge and have cancelled my gym membership to stay on my FLI journey. 

In case you're wondering how I did on the challenge, well I lost 22lbs in 6 weeks with training and fantastic dietary support, I've not felt hungry and I'm sleeping better at night and generally have more energy, what more could you ask.

Do it today I promise you won't regret it !!

FLI has provided me with the confidence, support and encouragement that I needed to change my lifestyle. From loosing weight to eating healthy, and getting fresh air to trying new things and getting fit, FLI has changed my life! I have spent years doing fad diets and getting gym memberships that I never used... the six week challenge gave me the push I needed to preserver through hard times and shed the unwanted weight. Brilliant and rewarding

Wether it’s to just up your fitness or to lose weight , this is a brilliant and great way to do it. Great trainers , lots of support , whenever, nutrition and receipt advice is simple but effective, fantastic bunch of classmates to workout with , encouraging each other and having a laugh with it all. Stick with it and you will see and feel the rewards pretty quick.. I’ve seen my fitness levels jump and a big change in my own body , weight, toning and shape ..

Now is the time to join Fli Fitness

In December 2018 I took up an offer to join a 6 week challenge. A fitness challenge - exercise and nutrition seemed totally out of my comfort zone but exactly what I needed.

At 48 I have tried many diets and even joined a few gyms, hoping to get the bug and get long lasting results. But the diets would eventually tail off through boredom and the gym memberships never got me into the frame of mind to build continuous development. So eventually the weight I dropped would sneak back on, plus a little bit more.

So I was 48, knowing I was unfit and not having a plan.

Hence the challenge! I was nervous when I started but Steve, Lauren, Jenny and Tanya are really the best possible people to be doing what they do. Great motivation and support, they get you to push more for all those gains in strength , speed , recovery etc that mean so much on this journey. Celebrate the wins with you and encourage you to keep at it. The fellow participants in each class are all there for the same drive and openly encourage / support you too.

So I can honestly say the mental and physical improvements I have experienced over my 6 week challenge have been truly exceptional. I have finally got the bug to keep going - nothing has ever unlocked that before , I promise you IF YOU TAKE UP THIS CHALLENGE YOU WILL SEE RESULTS, ENJOY GETTING THEM AND FIND A PASSION TO GET CONTROL BACK OF YOUR OWN FITNESS.

My results after just 6 weeks ....
Weight Loss = 8.1 KG
5 cm off my waist
7.1 cm off my belly
2.5 cm off my chest
My resting heart rate has dropped by 15 BPM!

I am just starting this journey and cannot wait to see more results in the next 6 weeks/6 months/12 months.

6 Week Challenge - Amazing Opportunity

I started this six week challenge feeling very apprehensive as I have suffered with knee problems for more than six years, including surgery. I am amazed with the results in such a short time, I can run with no problem and I am stronger than I have been in years. The main benefit is working outside in a group - it makes the whole experience so enjoyable and I can’t wait for the next class!

To anyone just starting out I would just say stick with it - it really does get easier with time. My diet is so much better than it was before and I have so much more energy.

I would also like to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you to the trainers Steve, Lauren, Jenny and Tanya for pushing me to work harder than I thought possible - I really do feel the results speak for themselves.

Couldn\\'t have started without FLI

I am nearly 70 and had never used a gym in my life. The weight was going on but, as I don't like group classes, I took the plunge and signed up with FLI and Jenny Rumsey as my personal trainer. I am so glad I did. Jenny is brilliant, loads of patience with a good sense of humour. She has given me the confidence to continue with my own regime and I can't thank her enough.  Added to that Steve is a great masseur - his deep tissue massage is a delight! In short I can't recommend FLI highly enough.

A fabulous experience...

Speaking as someone who generally dislikes any form of exercise I have been extremely pleased with the classes I've done with FLI. The instructor's are fabulous, the programme varied so you don't get bored and the activities doable. I will never be the fastest and I'm never going to enjoy running any distance (sorry Steve!) but I'm really enjoying the boot camps and HIIT. Boxercise has been a revelation so even though running isn't for me turns out I do like hitting things!!! Thanks FLI

Total Bang for your buck and absolute blast

Found out about FLI Fitness on a whim through Facebook late 2018 and subsequently signed up to their 6 week challenge. well what can I say the classes were amazing and diverse and the feeling of exercising outside added to the exhilaration. The trainer's are all incredibly helpful and possess a large wealth of knowledge and motivation to assist throughout the whole challenge. all in all it isn't just about the exercise though the whole system is a lifestyle change the entire way that I look at food and exercise had been flipped upside down. throughout the challenge I have felt consistently fitter and more flexible and well my results have spoken for themselves. The group classes are amazing everyone is welcoming and friendly. Would highly recommend this for anyone looking to make a consistent lifestyle change.

I sit at a desk in an office all week so it’s great to get outside and get some fresh air when I exercise. FLI bootcamps are always varied and fun and everyone’s really supportive no matter your level of fitness. The instructors are enthusiastic and careful to explain each exercise. They also push you which I need sometimes! I can fit FLI classes in around work and home life and the app makes it easy to book. I’m really feeling and seeing the benefits! :-)

Bootcamp if a great place of all levels of fitness. Classes are fun, supportive and you feel like part of a group. Instructor is awesome and you get results quickly. The best there is!

I've been seeing Steve for a few years now and highly recommend his services. He has helped me see that there are a lot of things I can do that I wouldn't have thought of doing before. Keeps me coming back for more.....

I have been coming to a variety of Fli Fitness bootcamps for over 3 years having got bored with running and the gym. I enjoy the 7am sessions the most but I’ve also attended evening, family and extreme bootcamps. Tonight I tried the latest addition - Combat with Billy which was really good. Friday’s at 7am have been my favourite as we go into the woods to enjoy “nature’s gym’. Steve is extremely knowledgeable and has a real passion for heath and wellbeing. Thanks Steve!

Big change

Steve is a great trainer. I've used his services for two years now and he has changed my life. He helps push for the physical changes I crave but also helps with nutrition and working on me mentally. A well balanced approach to making tackling all aspects of life that can effect your wellbeing!!!! He has emense knowledge and I've never stopped learning. Boot camps and personal training....

Brilliant sessions

Steve is the best and most experienced coach I have had. My first session was a full assessment then exercises to improve my weak areas. Each session is a gradual progression but still pushing me to my limits. The sessions are fun, interesting and stimulating. I look forward to each session. I would thoroughly recommend Steve he is an amazing coach.

Enjoyable fitness

I have been attending FLI fitness for 6 weeks I find the trainers very supportive and motivational. They push you to work harder and support you through the times you want to give up which for me is important as it encourages me to continue and it gets the best out of me. Due to the atmosphere and the support from the trainers I would highly recommend. It's so fun, but really hard work and the time flies. The only down side is I can't attend more sessions.

Fli fitness has given me the strength inside and out to help me be who I am today! I started Boot camp 2 years ago with a sore back shoulder and neck and reliant on painkillers...now I take no pain killers but eat healthy and do 3 bootcamps a week and love every minute of it...steve is an amazing kind knowledgeable soul who really knows his stuff. I also do mindfulness, meditation with Steve which I would now not be without in my life as it has helped me to be more aware and calm on a daily basis...life changing experience.

Weight Loss

I joined FLI in January on one of Steve's 12 week weight loss for life courses and now have PT sessions with Steve. The course was challenging to start with as I wasn't as fit as I thought I was but the whole mind and body approach that Steve takes really worked for me. By the end of the coarse I had lost 22Ib, loads of inches and felt a lot better about myself. The experience has really changed my relationship with food and weight. Steve is a great PT which is why I have continued after the course finished, no session is the same and he always keeps you motivated and keeps pushing you to your limits (what ever that limit is), he finds your weak spots and works you to improve them.

Great fun sessions

We have been attending FLI Fitness family bootcamps for over a year and we love them and our two sons do as well. We all have loads of fun at them and a great way to educate the kids (and us adults) on keeping healthy and active. For the past 6 months I have also been attending the main bootcamp classes and again find them to be great. Super trainers who are all up for a laugh but keep you going and pushing you to push yourself as well as far as you can but never make you feel bad if you can't keep up with everyone else. Have recommended FLI Fitness to loads of friends and will keep doing so.

Fabulous Fitness Fun

I absolutely love boot camp, even in the winter!! The variety makes me want to get out of bed to exercise at 7am on a frosty morning. I've always felt welcome. I've had some healing work done too and Steve is extremely gifted. I would recommend to anyone.

Keeping me motivated

Since joining the club I have been pushed but supported at each session. Steve completed a full thorough assessment initially and then a great work out changing each week and pushing the boundaries with Abbey has been excellent. The times work well for me and long term it will improve my overall fitness .

Steve is like an encyclopaedia of training techniques and regimes that at will he can bend to suit any requirement, be that weight loss, fitness, muscle growth, or injury rehab. Their approach is friendly and not pushy and I've learnt so much in the time I've been with Fli on how to manage my diet, my regime, and my wellbeing. Good all round support

Many personal trainers seem to recommend the same activities whatever the age and condition of the client. Fli Fitness provides one to one health coaching that is aimed at each person individually - very client focussed. In my 60s and with a bad back I have really appreciated the support that Steve has given me - it would be so easy to give up now but he is keeping me active.

Fun, supportive classes, for anyone and ability. Led by an amazing instructor who knows his stuff. Get results whilst having fun.

Best Trainer I've Had

I have tried to get fit for years with little progress, until I joined Fli Fitness, Steve taught me everything I know & now I enjoy training & it's part of my life, he will add value to your life through wellness as well as fitness. Train with Steve & youl get the results you've always wanted, as long as your willing to put the hours in you will get to where you want to be. You won't regret joining Fli.

Motocross training

Started training with Steve beginning of the year for my racing comeback after a 7 year gap ,at first I was sceptical on the results but all of a sudden it kicked in and I was getting great results against guys half my age Can't thank Steve enough for his knowledge and advice Even got me running Looking forward to some winter training and new season Thanks again for a great service

I can run!!

I have never been able to run for long, my hips hurt my breathing was panicky and I just hated it. Steve at FLI Fitness has helped me with my core strength and mobility and breathing technique, I ran my first 10k last week which I thought would have been impossible last year. Thank you Steve!!!

So much better than the gym!

These classes have helped me get the weekly excerise I was missing out on because of hating the gym but the people and trainers are so nice and supportive I now go every week and feel so much better and have loads more energy!

Fantastic Fun Fitness

As well as being a fantastic way to get fit, we have so much fun! Everyone is welcome and all abilities can join in and enjoy it. From 18yo -70yo as well as kids on the Saturday Family bootcamp - my boys love it!

Healing

Friendly and fun

I found the number of classes available meant I could be flexible about which class I went to which works well during school holidays. I normally go to the 9.15 am class which is full of like minded people who enjoy getting fit but like it to be fun too!. Great results and fun at the same time. Result!!!

Great Confidence Builder

FLI is brilliant. I didn't think I would enjoy exercise so much at my age. Each session is different so yiu xan never get bored with the same old same old. I have lost 3 stone but also learnt that it's not all about weight !! I can also eat the food I love. Give it a try - it makes yiu feel so much better about yourself and having fun while doing it.

Just try it

Fli fit has made me enjoy the exercise in a way I never thought I would and has changed my life I have lost over 2stone and my energy levels have doubled also the family bootcamp on a saterday is also great value for money and good fun with the kids while you still have the time to have a amazing workout
