Description

Balance lifestyle and fitness is all about combining healthy living with personal training, coaching and mentoring. Everyone can get fitter and improve their quality of life whatever age, size, shape or fitness level and this is what we aim to do here at Balance.

The gym is situated in a lovely private setting over looking the countryside and beautiful surroundings, away from the hustle and bustle of life. The Balance fitness suite is a great space with amazing facilities and private parking. We can train indoors and outdoors depending on the weather. In the summer we hold classes on the roof.

Personal Training can also be organised for two people with similar goals. This can work really well in terms of motivation and a quick progression towards goals.

We offer a variety of classes that compliment Personal Training programs. Classes are small and range from light weights and body weight strengthening to high intensity and heavy weight work.

For low impact classes we have options eg: LIIT (Low intensity interval training.) PACE (Postural alignment and corrective exercise.) and GP Referral. If your focus is on strength and flexibility we have pilates and yoga.

For those who have been training for a while and what to challenge themselves with weight training or training for a specific sport, we have HIIT (High intensity interval training,) Kettlercise, Early Bird Boot Camp, Boxercise and Legs bums and tums.

We believe that in mixing training with strength and flexibility classes this helps to Balance the body which provides many health benefits.

Here are just a few reasons to consider exercise classes from a health point of view:

Really relaxing & no pressure

Lovely small yoga class at Balance gym. Really relaxing & no pressure to do stuff you can't manage.

Recommend it

I've been going to Balance Lifestyle and Fitness since April 2015 and would recommend it to anybody. The gym is small and personal and spotlessly clean. Its a really pleasant place to be. Sue is fantastic - she's such an inspiration. Always upbeat and positive, she's very friendly and would put even the most nervous, first time gym user at ease. I've been going to the Yoga class, which I love. On sunny mornings, we've even been able to go outside onto the decking.

Really helped to get my body ready for 10 days skiing

Been going to the Ski Fit class since November. It really helped to get my body ready for 10 days skiing in January. Since we've carried on going and the improvement on body strength is quite dramatic. Highly recommend class in a lovely and personal improvement.

I can highly recommend this class to all abilities

I attend the yoga on Friday morning at 9.30. The class is really friendly and very well instructed by Kara. I can highly recommend this class to all abilities. The gym environment is an asset and when the sun shines the yoga class is taken outside.

An amazing session

Had an amazing session with Sue, we do one to two, so I have a friend to go through the pain and so much laughter with. Sue you do a great job with us, best way to exercise. Thank you

An excellent gym

Balance is an excellent gym and I love training here twice a week, highly recommend the hiit class and the kettle bell class. Both Sue and Sarah cannot be faulted, they have given me lots of advice since I first attended balance whether it be fitness or nutrition related or the occasional correction of form. The classes can be tough but are always enjoyable, and I have met some lovely people whilst getting fit!

Awesome setting for this well equipped gym. Sue knows her stuff and is Mrs Motivator!!
